Tasting notes :
Nose : very characteristic of fine-grained oak, with notes of incense and wax, and a rich, slightly pastry-like character.
Palate : aromas of walnut husk, with notes of citrus and candied pear. A straightforward, powerful palate, offering excellent length without any bitterness.
Finish : Slightly liquorice-like, reminiscent of a cigar box, with very distinctive notes of Tronçais oak.
The wood was naturally dried for three years on slats, starting in July 2018, to ensure perfect stability and a controlled aromatic expression. Once ready, this wood was entrusted to the cooper Jean-Noël Pelletant, renowned for the precision and finesse of his work.
This 10-year-old Cognac was put into barrel in May 2023, completing a double-cask maturation process that brings complexity, structure and aromatic depth.
